Why VASER® LipoSelection® is Different from Traditional Liposuction
Different from traditional liposuction surgery, the VASER® system uses ultrasonic technology to break down fatty tissue; incredibly, the ultrasound energy leaves the surrounding nerve and connective tissue relatively undamaged. The ultrasonic waves liquefy the fatty tissue, and the fat is then suctioned away through a special tube called a cannula.
